Welcome to Our Story!
First of all, thank you for visiting our blog! My husband, Paul and I have had a very interesting journey together, and it's about to get a bit crazier:) Paul and I met in Ocean City, MD while he was living in DE, working for Millsboro PD as a police officer and I was living in Waxhaw, NC, working for Union County Public Schools as a first grade teacher. We continued our long distance relationship for 2 and half years (lots of traveling within those years!) We now are approaching our 2nd anniversary as a married couple and live in South Carolina. My husband now works for Lancaster County Sheriff’s department as an Investigator and I am still working at the same school I was, 5 and half years ago.
For the past year we have been trying to extend our family, our fur babies would love a sibling!
In the past year, we have had lots of testing, doctor visits and procedures. We have met with a fertility doctor and without going into all the details, we found out that IVF is going to be our way of having a sweet baby of our own. We are very lucky to have an amazing family and some super great friends who are very supportive of our decisions.
